Screen Shot 2014-01-11 at 7.59.12 AMNo more pant legs flapping against one another.  No more bottom half layering.  No more pulling and tugging.  No more adjusting.  SportHill, athletic apparel company in Portland, Ore., has the answer with their new 3SP Callaghan Skinny Pant for women.

Searching for just the right gear can be a chore.  I’m always on the lookout for the perfect fit and weight of outdoor wear for snowshoeing.  So, when I spotted the new Skinny Pant in the latest SportHill catalogue, I ordered a pair.

Made from SportHill’s signature knit 3SP, which provides single layer warmth and is wind resistant up to 35mph, the Skinny Pant has some nice features.  Slim fit at the legs, gripper elastic hems, waist drawstring cord, zippered hand pockets and 9-inch locking ankle zippers are included.  Thin piping along the sides adds a finishing touch

Screen Shot 2014-01-11 at 7.59.48 AMSportHill has been well known for athletic clothing.  The Canadian National and Olympic Cross-Country Ski Team has been wearing their clothing since 1993.  Regardless of the season or temperature, you’re able to find gear that fits most outdoor sports.  SportHill created three zones of clothing:

  • ZONE 1 — Clothing to wear in temperatures over 65 F degrees
  • ZONE  2 — Clothing to wear in temperatures from 32-65 F degrees
  • ZONE  3 — Clothing to wear in temperatures 0 F to 32 F degrees

Now armed with the urge to get outdoors on the trail and fresh snow waiting, it’s that time of year.  And what could be better than having the right clothing that is comfortable, fits right and is warm without excess layering?  If you don’t mind advertising for the company, the Skinny Pant for women might be a good fit for you.

Available for women and men in a variety of sizes, more details are available at www.sporthilldirect.com.
