I picked up a pair of S-Lines based on Timothy's review and after using them a few times this year all I can say is Yowza. I'm a dyed in the wool knickers track Nordic skier who lives in CT where there is almost never enough snow to enjoy shoes. This year's snow depths got me out on the S-Lines when COVID-19 kept me from going to my favorite Western MA spots to ski. I took my Fabers on the local Blue Blazed trails and was able to get a glide going as well ans being able to negotiate tight spots skis would get hung up on. Of course they are not as fast as skis. But then again, I'm not fast on skis either. Thanks Tim for turning me on to what I think will be my go to winter toy.

Thank you so much for sharing! It's great to hear that the S-Lines provided a balance between snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, and you were able to step into territory you wouldn't have otherwise, even if the S-Lines weren't as fast. Here's to more S-Line adventures this winter! - Susan, Editor

After waiting for months, snow fell in Connecticut and I took my S-Lines for a spin. I am primarily a 'cross country' skier. But, I prefer in track. The S-Lines aren't as quick as my skis. But, I loved doing bushwhacking and negotiating growth that would have stopped me from exploring before. All in all, they do the trick nicely.
