To celebrate the 2014 holiday season, KEEN has launched a social media driven campaign that revolves around the brand exciting its community of fans around the world through a series of daily “surprise and delight” giveaways.
KEEN will conduct these giveaways throughout the month of December with something new for its fans to look forward to every day, ranging from sticker giveaways on Facebook to shopping cart buy-outs on keenfootwear.com.
In addition to giving away random acts of kindness online, KEEN will also randomly surprise shoppers at their Portland and Palo Alto Garage locations with free purchases when checking out.
#GiftYeah will extend beyond KEEN’s own social media channels. Fans will be encouraged to get involved by sharing their own #GiftYeah photos for a chance to be featured on the KEEN Blog and receive a chance to win a pair of boots of their own.
KEEN is also incorporating its Ambassadors and Hybrid.Care partners into the #GiftYeah mix. In order to promote hiking and exploring in the new year, Ambassador Adam Sawyer will reveal 10 Pacific Northwest hikes to check off your list while Ambassador Rue Mapp will share her favorite camping tips and tricks for 2015.
Random trivia questions related to conservation and recreation will be used to highlight Hybrid.Care partners Conservation Alliance, Leave No Trace and American Whitewater.
KEEN employees from various departments at the KEEN Headquarters in Portland, Oregon are also getting in on the fun. Throughout the month, select employees will have their favorite gear featured in a series of holiday gift guides from an inside-KEEN perspective.
