Columbia’s Mountain Monsters Gloves: Hands on Fire!

I’ll be honest, I fancy myself a mittens type of girl.  I grew up wearing mittens, I snowshoe and ski with mittens, and I am convinced that they’re the only thing that can keep my fingers warm in the frigid cold.  That is, until I was given a pair of Columbia’s Mountain Monsters Gloves.

These bad boys are lined with Omni-Heat Thermal Reflective (a silver dot fabric that reflects your natural body heat to keep you warmer) and my 10 digits were nice and warm up on the mountain in the single digit, frigid weather.  The gloves are made with one purpose: to keep your paws nice and toasty, and my hands were sweating by the time I was done exploring–no hand warmers necessary.

The gloves also have a water stopping OutDry membrane that wicks the moisture away and then there is my personal favorite, the nose wipe on the finger for those of us that are waterworks in the cold.

For the first time ever, I have retired my faded and well worn mittens for these new, super warm, snazzy and comfortable gloves by Columbia.  The only thing that could keep my hands warmer than these Mountain Monsters is lighting my hands on fire–I think I’ll stick to the gloves!
