Patagonia’s Advocate Stitch Shoe for Après-Adventures

I’m always on the hunt for a decent shoe that can be worn after snowshoeing—an après-snowshoe shoe, if you will.  It’s something that can be worn in the car after returning from a long trek.  It’s something that provides, first and foremost, comfort through a lightweight design.  And that something is the Advocate Stitch Shoe made by Patagonia.

Referred to as a “vegan shoe,” the Advocate is soft, durable, and quite tasty despite it being a healthy choice.

Mmmm… microfiber upper.

The Advocate quickly became my house shoe because it’s easy to slip on and off.  Plus, it can be worn outside and in public—unlike a pair of slippers with whiskers and eyes.  Quick trips to the mailbox—no matter the weather conditions—can be made with ease.

In addition, the Advocate is packable and light, which makes it ideal for backpackers who might want an après-hike shoe for campsite lounging.  I’ve even heard that the Advocate is perfect for beach-goers.

So, slip-on a pair of Advocates, prop your feet up and begin to unwind from a day of snowshoeing, hiking, or housecleaning.  Your choice.
