Details: Over the past few years trail races have been springing up all over the nation. However, few options have been provided in the Midwest, especially the Chicagoland area. That has changed! The Old School Trail 4 Mile presented by Montrail/Mountain Hardwear is the final event of the five-race Chicao Trail Series, competitive trail races that are held in the trails surrounding the Chicago area. These races are something new and fantastic that we are hoping the runners in the Chicagoland can take part in. Online Registration is now OPEN. We cap this event at 300 participants.

Details: ** SATURDAY - The Central Oregon Cross-Fit Challenge
A unique event inspired by Redmond Athletic Club and Central Oregon Cross-Fit. Four individual challenges (designed to take less than 15-minutes each). Each challenge will be scored and prizes awarded for overall and divisional winners.

** SUNDAY - The SAGE BRUSH SKIDADDLE
A 5-6 mile adventure foot race. The terrain is HIGH DESERT and many OBSTACLES have been added to enhance your experience. An event where scramble meets cross country and adventure... with some 'Bradmade' features to challenge your will and boost your adrenaline.

What: 24th Annual 10,000 Meters at 10,000 Feet
Where: Steamboat Springs, Colo.
Details: A Challenging trail run with some rough terrain and breathtaking scenery.... this race is a Steamboat classic! The 10K race begins at 10,000 ft at the summit of Rabbit Ears Pass first heading uphill on USFS dirt roads and 2 track, the race then heads downhill on single-track, ending on a cross country single-track. This race although listed as a 10K is closer to 7 miles in length.

What: Emerald Mountain Trail Run
Where: Steamboat Springs, Colo.
Details: Scenic trail run on beautiful Emerald Mountain. The course for the Emerald Mountain trail run will be a tour of Emerald mountain starting at the base of Howelson Hill. The course will meander north west on dirt road and then through aspen lined singletrack up to the top of Emerald Mountain. The course will then follow singletrack down and cross country to the base of Howelson Hill.
