Silver Star Mountain Resort has launched an unprecedented new perk for Alpine Season Pass and Alpine Day Tickets holders. To add to the resort’s 115 alpine runs, all passes and tickets will include unlimited access to all Nordic trails, snowshoe trails, the Tube Town Adventure Park, and ice skating at the resort’s Brewer’s Pond.
A training ground for international Olympians, skiers and boarders will also be able to experience and enjoy Silver Star’s 55 kilometres of pristine Nordic trails, 16 kilometres of marked snowshoe trails as well as the resort’s much loved Tube Town and skating on Brewer’s Pond. Dubbed the my1Pass, the new program is in celebration of the Silver Star’s ten millionth skier visit.
Season passes for Silver Star start at $675 for adults if purchased before October 14. Alpine Day Tickets are $77 for adults, $65 for youth ages 13 though 18, and $41 for children ages six though 12.
About 700 centimetres of light, dry powder blankets Silver Star’s 3,065 acres of skiable terrain annually. Accessible on one of seven high-speed chair lifts and T-bars, skiers and boarders share 115 progressive runs that include 11 double black diamond runs for the super daring. Off the slopes, Silver Star’s quaint village evokes images straight from the pages of a Dickens novel. Combined with its renowned champagne powder snow, Silver Star is a mountain with many attractions.
